Can’t think of a gift idea. How about getting dad a nice  alarm clock/ radio with an apple ipod/iphone dock. Dad can wake up to his favorite tunes and be ready to start his day. If dad has an Iphone dad can charge his phone on his alarm clock and he can take care of two things with this one item.
