Butcher’s Knife

Every once in a while, you see a new item and you wonder why in the world you didn’t think of it yourself. This is essentially two butcher knives in one. There are small spacers to separate the blades, but not so much space that you can’t get your hand on the handle. This literally [...]

Cutting Board

This may not be very practical, but it is somewhat cool. This cutting board is done in the style of a checkerboard. So, you can slice your cucumbers and then play a friendly game of checkers afterward while you wait for your roast to finish. Just don’t eat the slices, since you may need kings.

Griddle

This griddle is perfect for the father who likes to make big breakfasts for his family. The cooking surface is 21×12 inches, which is plenty of room for eggs, pancakes and hash browns all at once. You can almost smell and hear the bacon sizzling in the picture.

Pictionary

Dad likes to draw, and Pictionary is the original drawing guessing game. Teams of 2-4 go head to head in a drawing contest to see who is the better artist as well as who is the best interpreter. Some of you who have played this game know that deciphering the drawing sometimes requires a doctorate [...]

Murder Mystery Game

This is for the dad who likes to solve puzzles but finds the two dimensional picture puzzles too easy or boring. This is a dynamic party game where people solve a murder based on conversation and clues. It’s like you’re in an Agatha Christie novel and you have to determine who dun it. I’ve always [...]

Shuffleboard set

Is there anything else in the world that signifies leisure more than shuffleboard? Even the name suggests a low-key, relxed game amongst friends. Maybe that’s why shuffleboard is so popular amongst the retirement crowd, and it has such a bad reputation amongst younger people. But you can introduce family and friends to this leisure game [...]

We’ve all seen the commemorative chess sets with a Civil War or Star Wars theme. Well, if you have a penchant for a particular theme, there is a chess set out there for you. This particular chess set is made from old automobile parts. So, if your dad is a car enthusiast, this might be [...]

Baseball print

This is a pretty cool image. This is a picture of Wambsganss, a player for the Cleveland Indians, taken in 1920. What makes this image more incredible is that Wambsganss executed an unassisted triple play on the remaining men in the picture. This is a piece of baseball history that any fan of the game will enjoy.
